Robert Thompson, Trustee Professor of television, radio and film in the Newhouse School and director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture, was quoted in the Bloomberg article “” The article touches on how the pandemic has opened up a new supply chain where Americans have been introduced to “a broader, more diverse bounty of cultural material.” Thompson, an expert on the television industry, says that “everyone sees American shows, but Americans never got to see a lot of shows from other places.”
