, professor emeritus of political science in the Maxwell School, was interviewed by WBNG-TV Binghamton for the story “.” Anderson, an expert on American politics, says that the vacancy in New York’s 22nd congressional district will allow most constituents to continue to receive the same support as usual, yet some will be disenfranchised. “Constituents will still get services, you know the normal kinds of services offered by a member of congresses, [if] they have problems getting their social security check or they have problems with their military discharge papers arriving or whatever it might be,” Anderson says.
