Rob Baiocco, executive creative director for Grey Healthy People, will visit Syracuse University’s on Thursday, March 1, as a guest of the Eric Mower Advertising Forum. He will speak on “Secrets of Success in the Mad World of Advertising” at 6:30 p.m. in the Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium in Newhouse 3. Follow on Twitter at #MowerForum.
Baiocco has been with Grey NY for 18 years. In his role as executive creative director of Grey Healthy People, a specialized unit within Grey that focuses on health, he leads the creative vision for the company’s entire health portfolio including brands like Aquafresh, Botox, Tums, Cialis, Playtex, Preparation H and Panadol.
His past experience covers a wide range of accounts, including Captain Morgan, E*Trade, Pringles, Starburst, Tanqueray, Six Flags and Gallo.
He has a wealth of international experience, overseeing the creative for brands in more than 45 countries.
He’s been a winner or finalist in every major award show, including Cannes, One Show and London International. His work has appeared in publications including The New York Times, Adweek, the Wall Street Journal and USA Today. He has been a CNN Super Bowl analyst.
Baiocco is also an active member of the Ad Council, and sits on its Creative Review Committee.
