The will present “Video Now,” its annual screening of short videos created by students in the ’ Department of Transmedia, on Tuesday, April 24, at 7 p.m. at the museum, 401 Harrison St., Syracuse. The screening, which is part of the Everson Museum’s Contemporary Film Series, is free and open to the public.
“The videos this year are fresh, innovative and experimental,” says Pam McLaughlin, curator of education and public programs. “The students’ hard work pays off, and their creativity really shows.”
Light refreshments will be served during an intermission reception where the public can meet the artists.
The Contemporary Film Series screens contemporary, independent film and video, both feature lengths and experimental shorts that cover a broad range of cinematic styles and themes. The Contemporary Film Series is made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency.
