Traffic and Transportation Updates in and around Campus

Syracuse city traffic crews will be visible next week (beginning Aug. 17) along Comstock and Waverly avenues. As part of the ongoing effort by the city to improve the flow of cars, people and bikes, work will soon begin, leading to adjustments to traffic lanes and parking. Much of the work involves painting, including lane striping and bike lanes, and is scheduled to take place Monday through Wednesday, weather permitting. Campus road projects are also progressing as expected, including the reopening of Euclid Avenue between College Place and Comstock, which is expected early next week. All transit service will return to regular routing on Monday, Aug. 17, and College Place will once again become the main shuttle stop for all routes. In addition, the Quad Shuttle will once again be able to provide service to the Quad area.
