The web site reported on the U.S. Department of Energy announcement of $30 million in grants for energy-efficient housing partnerships, including Syracuse University on the Advanced Residential Integrated Energy Solutions team focusing on energy solutions for new and existing affordable housing.
Sharif Bey, a dual assistant professor of art education in the School of Education and College of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA), has work on exhibition at the U.S. Embassy in Khartoum, Sudan, as reported in an review. Three of Bey’s pieces are in the embassy’s permanent collection.
