Th3 (The Third Thursday) is a consortium of 21 Syracuse arts venues that coordinate free monthly visual arts events from 5-8 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month.

“Creative Crossings” features artwork of Arthur Brangman’s students, including mixed media landscapes, still-life, portraits and abstracts. The group chose the title “Creative Crossings” because they felt that a crossing must be made in order to heal both mentally and spiritually.

Point of Contact Gallery

Opening reception for “Spanglish,” an exhibition of drawings, collage, photography and video by New York City artist Celeste Fichter. “Spanglish” is a project made specifically for the Point of Contact Gallery by Fichter, based on Point of Contact’s work in contemporary verbal and visual arts, and the artist’s understanding and misunderstanding of the Spanish language.

“Nature Inspired,” an exhibition featuring painter C. Wilkinson and husband, potter Bruce Thomas.
Exhibition features Thomas’ porcelain and stoneware which is often enhanced by Wilkinson’s delicate carvings and sculptural additions. Paintings include encaustics, acrylics and mixed media of nature studies that Wilkinson referenced from Thomas’ photography.
