Artist Arena CEO Mark Weiss to speak Jan. 24

Artist Arena CEO and founder Mark Weiss will give a talk on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 6:45 p.m. in the Lender Auditorium, located on the concourse level of the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. The lecture is part of the Bandier Program’s Soyars Leadership Lecture Series in the ’ (VPA) Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music. It is open to the University community.

Artist Arena is an artist-to-fan services company. Prior to founding Artist Arena in 2004, Weiss founded TVMV, which became MusicVision. While CEO of MusicVision, Weiss led fund-raising efforts of $20 million in venture capital and created a media company focused on creating new income streams for recording artists. At MusicVision he realized that by leveraging the direct sale of tickets to the consumer, artists could start to generate significant ancillary income. He founded Artist Arena to build upon this vision.
