For the first time since 2019, Syracuse University students once again have an amazing opportunity to experience life in Boston while getting an inside look at the fun and interesting business opportunities the city can offer. Network with Boston-Based Alumni
The key piece of this trip is connecting current undergraduate students with Syracuse University alumni! Each day will consist of meeting with alumni in big and small groups to connect on a professional basis, and to gain advice on certain industries. Connections go a long way in any industry, and with the Syracuse University connection, it will be easy to connect with alumni and have productive conversations. Our alumni are awesome and are excited to meet you!
Learn More About Potential Career Paths
On this trip, we’re traveling the city to gain inside knowledge on several industries directly from University alumni. This trip allows you to explore different fields and businesses hands-on! From visiting a variety of businesses, such as , Ìý²¹²Ô»å , not only will you get a taste of the city, but also a taste of many different professional paths and industries you may want to explore or are already interested in. You never know, you might find something new!
Explore the Beauty of Boston
You’ll be seeing a lot of Boston during the trip, but you won’t even have to go far to enjoy the beauty of the city! During the trip you’ll be staying in the Courtyard Boston Downtown by Marriott, which borders the neighborhoods of and . Down the way is , America’s oldest park, and the , America’s first botanical garden. Both are very beautiful and entertaining places to visit. The Public Garden in the spring is full of beautiful trees, green grass and colorful flowers, and it sits on a river full of swans and lily pads. Boston Common is full of historical artifacts, including the iconic statue of Paul Revere riding through the night. Boston Common also has the , which is full of cute creatures, along with a carousel and a cafe!
Represent the Campus Community and Make New Connections
On this trip, everyone will come together as undergraduates to represent Syracuse University. You may know 10 people on this trip or 0 people, but we will all have each other to bond with and support in our professional development ventures. As we venture into the working world, this may be intimidating, but with peers it will be a fun and explorative experience! As we represent Syracuse University together in the real world, it’ll be nice to learn more about the experiences we’ve had in the campus community and how we can all represent ourselves as future alumni. This network that we will build within the community will be a professional network for our future!
